Real Money Odds on Presidential Election

Intrade allows people from all over the world to place real money bets on who will win the White House. See the odds from Intrade and another prediction market after the jump.

This is a real time graph of the betting odds. At the time of this post, the odds were about 80% in favor of Sen. Obama winning the election. Intrade operates out of Ireland where this type of gambling is legal. In the US, you can participate in the University of Iowa's similar prediction market, the IEM, but this market is limited by US regulations and likely has less slightly less predictive power than the corresponding intrade market.
